This is a HELP file for SED
                         ===========================


       It is a full screen editor, similar to RPED and with similar commands.

       Except that it is limited to the normal boundaries of the screen and can 

       therefore only be used for small ammounts of text.

       The CURSOR keys DEL-> and <-DEL operate as you would expect.

       ALT DEL-> and ALT <-DEL deletes from the cursor to END or START of line.

       ALT CURSOR DOWN inserts a line,    CAN deletes a line.

       FIND moves to end of line, press again to move to start of line.

       CUT breaks the text at the cursor onto two lines, inserting a line if necc'.

       RELAY merges two lines together.  The joint line is truncated if it's too long.

       [+] toggles between insert and overstrike mode.

       Press EXIT to leave SED or F1 at any time for this HELP.
