                                SOME LIGHT RELIEF

                                  The following short programs are included in 
          INTRO not only as light relief, but as examples of the type of 
          simple program that you could be writing in a few weeks. I enjoy 
          programming as an artistic as well as an intellectual exercise, and 
          even programs such as these hold some challenges.

          The programs are computer studies of wellknown types of games and 
          amusements. I hope that you will come back to them later, to study 
          the listings and maybe to modify and improve them.
